This program creates a safe and dynamic learning space for kids in Abobo (Ivory Coast). While we currently offer English classes, we plan to expand into coding and robotics to further ignite creativity. In response to the prevalent juvenile delinquency in the area, our initiative is dedicated to nurturing these kids and guiding them away from negative influences.
Every year, financial hardships force many young Ivorians to drop out of school.
To increase access to education, we identify students who are at risk of school drop and pair them with a sponsor.
Our Excellence Awards program recognizes and rewards outstanding academic achievement among middle and high school students. Through this program, we provide recipients with essential school supplies, including books and textbooks, to inspire a culture of excellence and positive peer influence.
Our workshops aim to equip young people with the skills and knowledge needed to become effective leaders and agents of change in their communities. Through interactive and engaging sessions, participants gain valuable insights into leadership, communication, problem-solving etc. Our ultimate goal is to empower young people to become the driving force behind positive social change in their communities.
At The Way Out, we strongly believe that club activities are a great way to engage students and develop their talents. That's why we provide support to secondary school and college students in creating and maintaining clubs at their schools. Our goal is to encourage students to explore their interests and develop new skills. By creating a platform for students to collaborate and work towards shared goals, we hope to empower them to become active and engaged members of society.
Every month, we host online conferences that bring together Africans from around the world to engage in discussions on contemporary issues with specialists. Our conferences cover a wide range of topics such as active citizenship, business development, employability, democracy, and more.

"The Way Out was born out of a desire to shift the narrative about Africa and the African nations.
As woman of colour, a teacher and a training facilitator, I have joined the movement as a volunteer to start that new narrative by empowering young people, strong-willed volunteers through education and training. The Way Out, as a team, is focused on its vision and firmly believes that education will rise African nations and lead to their autonomy and to active participation in the family, society, economy and politics.
Together with like-minded volunteers, we have started to lay the foundation to shape or at least to influence the future of today's youths. Our commitment is also aligned with the 4th UN Sustainable Development Goal and let's make it happen! ''
"It was a real pleasure to share these moments with you. Thank you for the opportunity you gave me to do a training from New York. The magic of Zoom!
Congratulations for contributing to promoting a constructive and transformational leadership in Africa."
"I feel honored and encouraged by this award you have given me as recognition of my efforts. I feel more compelled to work harder and I am convinced this initiative has motivated students from my school to take their education seriously and always give out their best."
"Having participated in multiple events hosted by The Way Out, I can affirm that the youth in the Ivory Coast are indeed fortunate to benefit from the commitment of this dedicated group striving to enhance education in the nation. The organization acknowledges the important role of education in a country's development and actively inspires young individuals to embrace it as a path to success."
''It was an honor for me to lead this conference on 'the Ivorian educational system in the light of digital technology'.
You are a young and dynamic team, just keep it up!''
